~ Artist Affiliations ~

Artomatic is a month-long multimedia arts event that unites visual artists, musicians and performers who share their art with the community without charge. More than 1,000 artists and performers took part in 2002 at the SW Waterfront in Washington, DC. In 2007 when Artomatic was held in Virginia, it drew more than 40,000 visitors during a 6-week period.

ArtSpace Herdon is a community art gallery created and supported by art lovers in the greater Herndon area to showcase art and events by local, regional and national artists and performers.

The Art in Public Places program was founded by the Council for the Arts of Herndon (CAH). The program coordinates four quarterly displays of local artists’ work in various Northern Virginia offices, banks, churches and libraries. CAH finds venues for artists and promotes art to the local community.

The Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE) is a dynamic arts center located in Reston, Virginia. GRACE provides abundant opportunities to experience and explore the visual arts through exhibitions, educational programming, the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, and special events.

The International Artists Support Group (IASG) is composed of visual artists who have joined together since 1992 in local chapters around the world to provide mutual support and also encourage the exchange of artistic ideas and opportunities.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is located in the famous Georgetown area of Washington, DC. Founded in 1990, MOCA DC has a long-standing tradition of being open to emerging artists and emerging art forms.
